Privacy Policy
The short version
Reveal Shot stores every patient photo, consent, and note inside the app on your iPhone, encrypted with iOS data protection. Nothing you capture is uploaded to us or to anyone else. We don't run a server that ever sees a photo. We collect no analytics inside the app.
What the app stores, and where
- Photos, patient names, visits, tags, notes, consents, and signatures stay in the app's private container on your device, protected by iOS Complete File Protection. They are never written to the camera roll and never synced to iCloud by the app.
- Camera settings and lighting statistics saved with each photo stay on the device with the photo.
- Your practice name, logo, and Instagram handle (used on exports) stay on the device.
- The trial start date is stored in the device keychain so a reinstall doesn't restart the trial. It contains no personal data.
What leaves the phone, and only when you choose
- Exports you share. When you tap Share, iOS hands the image or video to the app you pick. Where it goes from there is between you and that app.
- Backups. The encrypted backup file is written wherever you choose in the Files app. It is sealed with a passphrase only you know; we cannot open it and cannot recover it.
- Save to Photos. Only if you explicitly save selected photos to an album in Apple Photos.
- Subscriptions. Purchases go through Apple. We receive an anonymous transaction record from Apple and never your card details.
Website
If you join the waitlist on revealshot.com, the name, practice, role, email, and iPhone model you enter are sent to us as a single message so we can invite you to the beta. We don't sell or share that list. The site itself uses no advertising trackers.
HIPAA
Because Reveal Shot never transmits or stores protected health information on our systems, we are not a business associate to your practice and no Business Associate Agreement is required for the app. Your practice remains responsible for the device, its passcode, and how exports are used. Face ID lock is on by default; keep it on.
Children
Reveal Shot is a professional tool for licensed practices and is not directed at children.
